All In Marketing Newsletter

Hello from Heather and Chrissie at AIM360. We are taking a moment to share insights from our incredible team, celebrate brands we admire, and highlight events we attended this summer. We hope this newsletter is a helpful (and enjoyable!) addition to your inbox. We receive the replies directly, so do not hesitate with questions.

OUR PEOPLE

Eight Leaders, Eight Perspectives

AIM360's leadership team believes that work should bring joy and happiness, but more than that, your experience is your greatest gift to your client. Here we bring together experience across strategy, creative, operations, data, and client growth. Our team's backgrounds are different, but their commitment to building smarter, more connected marketing is shared.

We asked each leader one question to highlight the perspectives shaping our work: what’s one thing you wish clients knew about building great campaigns?

Stephanie Horton  —  Merchandise and Brand Strategy

Merchandising, lifestyle brand strategy

“Great campaigns are part art, part science. You need good data, but you also have to read between the lines and understand what the client and customer truly need.”

Samantha Schwabenbauer  —  Data and Insights

Testing, analytics, performance optimization

“We don't build great campaigns in a silo. For each one, we look at prior campaigns, product and presentation. The best work comes from teamwork across departments.”

Karen Fischer  —  Data and Audience Strategy

Co-op databases, modeling, segmentation

“We have a wealth of experience building audiences. Keeping files accurate, reviewing results at a granular level, and staying close with our co-op partners are all key to a great campaign.”

Jon Murphy  —  Operations

Workflow, production, quality control

“There is a full team of subject matter experts behind every campaign. I see the behind-the-scenes work every day, and the level of detail and care that goes into each step is unmatched.”

Dan Fagan  —  Direct Mail Strategy

Seasonality, customer behavior, data-driven planning

“A strong campaign takes more than performance numbers. You have to understand a client's whole business: their seasonality, mailing cadence, and who they're actually marketing to.”

Robin Kadet  —  Retention and CRM

Customer lifecycle, loyalty, segmentation

“Great campaigns come from stepping back and really thinking about what customers want and what would inspire them. Numbers only tell part of the story.”

Wendy Gamache  —  Client Strategy

Client partnership, campaign alignment

“I want clients to see how much thought and research goes into a plan before we hand it over: analyzing trends, checking what worked, and building from there. It's never one-size-fits-all.”

Brenda Grunewald  —  Integrated Marketing

Customer experience, cross-channel strategy

“We always start with the audience first, then build everything else around it: the channel, product, merchandise, and discount. The best campaigns are customer-centric.”

AIMING HIGH: STANDOUT STORIES IN THE MARKET

We love seeing brands we admire make the news and launch new products. Here's what we're watching.

ME+EM

This brand has taken over our algorithm and is making us feel very fashion-girl-forward! Kate Middleton wore ME+EM's burgundy silk blouse for her first royal appearance of the year, and Wimbledon was basically a ME+EM lookbook courtside (Poppy Delevingne, Ambika Mod, Bel Powley). The August Collection is gorgeous.

Todd Snyder

Teamed up with Sperry for a third Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood collection. We're holding onto our ‘summer boat shoe energy’ as long as possible.

J.McLaughlin

Anything better than two colorful, beautiful brands collaborating to create something truly unique? We don't think so. J.McLaughlin celebrated ten years with Frances Valentine via a shoe capsule.

Garnet Hill

Turns 50 this year, and gets to celebrate five decades of natural-fiber staples that trace back to a flannel duvet cover born out of the ’70s energy crisis. This brand has been mailing beautiful catalogs for decades, and we're thrilled to support the legacy.

Stonewall Kitchen

Another heritage brand to celebrate this summer. Stonewall Kitchen turns 35 this year, marking it with a “35 Years of Great Taste” campaign tracing back to a Maine farmers’ market stand in 1991.
